We are ethical preservation breeders at Getchell Brook Frenchies. We strive to keep the healthy traits French Bulldogs had before becoming overbred and trendy.
Our Frenchies are members of our family and puppies are raised in our home. At four weeks our puppies are socialized with cats, other dogs and children. They receive one-on-one time with people each day and are desensitized to household noises. We also start potty training at this age. We introduce a litterbox in their playpen and go outside if weather allows. Health and temperament are our main focus.
We have a variety of puppies available for you to choose from. Whether you're looking for a small lap dog or an active companion, we have the perfect puppy for you. Check out our available puppies and find your new best friend!
We stand behind our puppies and guarantee their health for up to 1.5 years. We also provide a lifetime of support to our puppy owners, including advice on training, nutrition, and any other questions you may have.
Our customers love their puppies from Getchell Brook Frenchies! Read some of our glowing reviews and see why we are one of the most trusted breeders in the area.
Our breeding program is carefully designed to produce healthy, happy puppies that meet the breed standard. We always DNA health test the parents. Our French Bulldog pairings are clear of being double carriers of over 250 genetic health conditions by Embark Animal Genetics.
We will NEVER breed a dam more than 3 times to ensure the healthiest puppiest and the happiest moms.
We also boast a very low COI (Coefficient of Inbreeding.) The breed standard has an average of 30% inbred. We have numbers of 16% or less for both parents and puppies.
We will also never send a dam away when she is no longer breeding. We can't imagine keeping a dog for years and then giving her up for adoption when she is no longer "of use." First and foremost our Frenchies are family and they will stay with us their entire lives. This is one reason we will always be a hobby breeder and never a kennel breeder.
Every mom needs a break. Honey (mom) plays outside with Winchester (dad) and Fionnuala for a bit each day even when she has new pups to look after. Her mental health is as important as her physical health.
